What's the difference in this stevia and Now's Original Stevia?

There are 3 "Now Foods" brand liquid stevia bottles that aren't flavored. The original sports an orange label, has an 11% alcohol base, and is not organic. The green label is organic with an 11% alcohol base. There is also a blue label bottle which is organic and non-alcoholic, with a vegetably-derived glycerine base. Those with alcohol have the consistency of water, and some people think they mix better into beverages. The glycerine-based kind is a bit viscous (about like pancake syrup), but I haven't found it any less mixable, even in iced beverages. Then there are the flavored ones, which come in French Vanilla, Chocolate, and more--I haven't tasted any of those. I don't know whether the minute amount of alcohol affects my meds, but I currently use the organic glycerin with the blue label to be on the safe side. I hope this answers your question, Crystal--there's a lot of confusion about the different labels, and "Now Foods" hasn't really made it easy for consumers not fastidious about researching ingredients.

Does 4 drops really sweeten well? Thank you

Yes, 4 drops is the perfect amount for about a 16-20 oz glass of tea or whatever. I've actually put in more than 4 drops, maybe closer to 6 or 7 drops, and found it to be too sweet. The good thing about the liquid stevia is even if you over sweeten your drink or whatever, it doesn't taste bitter, it simply tastes sweeter.
