It’s not super light or thin so if you’re expecting that, look elsewhere. About an inch or two of the bottom half of the bottle has a thick durable rubber wrap, which is great for comfort and just feels more stable when placing it down on a table. I tried pouring some cold water inside and even after 12 hours it was nice and cold. And even close to a full day, it was still noticeably cool, definitely not room temp. Great insulation on the bottle.Admittedly, I’m not using this for outdoor activities but just as a water bottle for my desk which I spend a majority of my time at. The main reason I purchased this was because of the cap options. I’m not a fan of those straws or little flip up spouts like a toddler cup. This bottle comes with a choice of a regular bottle cap style which is exactly what I was looking for. All the caps feel super quality and premium. The bottle cap style which I personally use is great. It’s only a small amount of turning to twist it open. The whole cap part is connected to the bottle so you don’t have to worry about losing it and it’s easy to flip it out of the way and then flip it back so you can twist it close. It doesn’t flap around when you’re drinking as well since it has some resistance to it.
