Part of me wonders if I could wash out some of the dye to color match, but I don't think I'll bother as it may just let ghten the red rather than making it browner. A few years ago I tried to get a similar glasses case made on Etsy and it was $60 USD, so this is an absolute steal and I'm glad to have gotten it. I have since attached the brown version to my wife's bag.
