It might be a bit skeptical to some due to being elastic, meaning that it's a bit stretchy, but that's probably the best feature about these. I'm a small person (male) that decided on ordering the "Tall 54" suspenders, and I can say that they're definitely worth it. I've never wore suspenders before, and I was wanting to get a pair that resembled original, old-style suspenders. These suspenders come with 6 buttons that you sow onto your pants, then the button-ends simply attach to those buttons. It's best to put on your pants, then drape the suspenders over your shoulders, adjust them a bit, line up the button-ends to where you'll put the buttons, then mark them with a pencil. I put my buttons on the inside of the pants.So, I originally decided on getting suspenders for work. I work at a bakery and I'm constantly having to bend over to put trays on racks, picking up boxes, or other various other things where I'm constantly having to pull at my pants and that doesn't seem too sanitary to begin with. So, in short, I've wore these at my full-time job, underneath my baking coat, for quite a while now and they've held up extremely well. I'm rather a small person instead of a large person with a belly, so I can only give you the perspective of a small male that has been using these for about a month on 50-60 hour weeks of working in them. In addition to that, I can say that with these being elastic, I'm so glad I got the elastic stretchy kind rather than a tough, rigid material that has no give. The pants stay up, and are easy on the shoulders -- I have no shoulder pain nor know that they're on me after a while. I don't wear my pants belly-button high, so I have them adjusted to accommodate my comfort wearing level and they're just perfect.There's no cons so far from what I've experienced with wearing these daily. As a first-timer with suspenders, my review might be not as creditable compared to others, but I'm fairly critical on things I wear while working since it's a lot of moving around and comfort is a huge key. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great suspenders *by M***E on April 17, 2025* I have tried the usual clip-on suspenders, they are cheaply made, and the clips can let go of pants. An older concept was suspenders that would attach to buttons inside the waistband of the pants. I found buttons that clamped onto the waistband and then these suspenders will attach to the buttons. These look better do not appear to be cheaply made, and work better. Attach buttons and suspenders prior to putting on pants. Once your pants are on, simply pull the suspenders up over your shoulders. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reasonable value for the price. *by A***N on March 15, 2025* Very good basic braces. Appreciate the gray color which matches trousers perfectly. The leather button tabs are among the thinnest I’ve seen. Very easy to button but lingering doubts about durability.
