And other than the fact that some wire wheels are British made, the item title is fairly misleading. For the average guy just trying to put my rims on, I could have just bought a MADE IN CHINA version locally. Product took a long time to deliver, but was one day early.

Post says British wire wheels, I was assuming we were getting a quality hammer. It will work, but I could have got a made in China one locally. Didn’t notice the made in china engraving in the photos posted, and package shipped from New Jersey. So, yea it will work to tighten the knockoffs on my wire wheels. And other than the fact that some wire wheels are British made, the item title is fairly misleading. For the average guy just trying to put my rims on, I could have just bought a MADE IN CHINA version locally. Product took a long time to deliver, but was one day early.

The Lead Hammer came quicker than I expected. As you can see my old one needed to be replaced. I’ve only used it a few times but it’s felt solid and balanced. The handle feels better than others I’ve used in the past. I have Dayton wire wheels on my Impala so I always make sure to keep it handy in the trunk in case I need to tighten and remove my wheels on the road. Overall great product!
