If you want to cringe while watching Vince Vaughan be a total a#$, this is your film. Completely lacking in the humor and chemistry that made Swingers a career launcher for Favreau and Vaughn.

Many people will compare this movie to Swingers: a movie I thought was better quality in acting and script but Made is, in my opinion, the funnier movie. More specifically, I think it's Vince Vaughn's funniest movie. If you don't like his style of comedic acting then stay away; he takes over most of this movie. And maybe this isn't the best criteria for rating a movie but, like Swingers, there are so many lines that get stuck in your everyday speech. From the handful of friends who also enjoy this movie, there's hardly a few weeks that go by that we can't crowbar some quote from Made into a conversation. Yeah, it's that type of movie: simple but fun.

Very funny you really want to kill one of the guys he is the most obnoxious thing if that humor appeals to you you will love this movie

There are many stars in this movie. (How did they get them all?) It has an entertaining mix of action scenes and funny scenes and scenes that mix both. Vince Vaughn is hilarious in this movie. The ad libs are funny, too, and you can notice them by the way the other cast members react. Columbo earned his paycheck dealing with Vince. In one scene, you can see the type of moves Vince probably used to get Jen A. An adorable little girl was cast to get the viewer emotionally attached to the story and her plight. Maybe it's a guy movie, but it was very entertaining. I've watched it many times and will again in the future.

Excellent. Better than Swingers to me, it’s kind of a sequel I think. Vince Vaughn is in a one of a kind roll not seen again till Old Schiol & Jon Faveruv is excellent (even though I messed up his last name). Puff Daddy or whatever he is now is good too. Recommend for any Swinger fan

I consider myself a Vince Vaughn fan & he does not disappoint. He is at his best as a big mouth who gets his friend in trouble for dragging him in the situation. We all have a friend who we wonder why we keep as a friend, well that is who Vaughn plays. The plot is weak, but almost plausible. Just don't over think it & enjoy the ride! The bottom line, you will be happy with buying it new!

This movie is hysterical!

Gave this a try but 10 minutes was all I could take of Vince Vaughn's arrogant, dumb, motor-mouth character. Juveniles with low IQs may find it amusing, I decided life is too short to waste on this kind of rubbish.

Eine wahnwitzige Komödie. Bobby (Jon Favreau) und Ricky (Vince Vaughan) sind dicke Kumpels und bekommen den leichten Auftrag, für ihren Gangsterboss (Peter Falk) eine Übergabe in New York durchzuführen. Damit wären sie dann endlich "gemachte" Männer, vollwertige Mitglieder der Famile, nicht nur Handlanger. Während Bobby nur den Job erledigen will, ist Ricky, mit seiner "Ich-bin-der-Allercoolste"-Einstellung immer nur eine Handbreit vom totalen Disaster entfernt.Gerade durch den völlig überzeichneten Charakters Ricky, kann der Film kaum den Anspruch erheben, eine Mafia-Studie sein zu wollen. Eher eine Komödie in diesem Milieu, in die Richtung von "Reine Nervensache" (mit Robert de Niro & Billy Crystal). Aber das gibt dem Film eine klare Ausrichtung: Er ist eine Komödie, und eine gute noch dazu. Die Dialoge (zumindest in der exzellenten englischen DD 5.1-Version) sind phänomenal, und man kann kaum erwarten, in welche Peinlichkeit Rickys abstruse Vorstellungen von einem wahren 'Mobster' die beiden als Nächstes bringen. Tolles Kino auf DVD, ggf. müsste man bei der deutschen VHS-Version Abstriche machen.

Dieser Film hat die 2 selben Hauptdarsteller wie das Juwel "Swingers".Alles andere hat der Film leider NICHT.Er ist nicht spannend, er ist nicht dramatisch, ER IST NICHT WITZIG oder charmant, er ist nicht glaubwürdig, er ist kein Pflichtkauf wenn einem Swingers gut gefallen hat.Umbedingt vor dem Kauf ausleihen und probesehen.Ich würde die Handlung eher als "anstrengend" charakterisieren.Ich habe den Film im Gedächtnis an Swingers "blind" gekauft, auf gut Glück also, und auf die beiden Darsteller vertrauend.Das hat sich leider als nicht wirklich clever herausgestellt, ganz ehrlich.Wenn möglich, hätte ich nur 1 1/2 Sterne vergeben (wenn 1 Stern eine Null-Leistung repräsentiert).

Good movie

This is one of the funniest movies you will ever rent. Vince Vaughan is the best! The dialogue is fantastic. Make sure you watch the outtakes with Peter Faulk, you will fall off the couch. I almost like this better than Office Space!
