But overall it works well, as expected. Would recommend, although I would look out that some of the material on the dress is not the best quality, and that you get the right age group + maybe above the size of the age group, since it was quite tight around the waist. ### ⭐⭐⭐ OK but probably won't stand up to repeated wear. *by N***I on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2014* My daughter needed a medieval costume for her school play and this fit the bill, it was one of the few dresses available for older girls. The dress is long and is made of thin material. The one we received had parts of the green "velvet" style fabric missing from under the arm and was a black mesh-type fabric that you could see through, but it was only in a small area and we needed the costume quickly so we didn't bother to return it. The headband would not stand up on my daughter's head and kept falling over, also one end of the headband fabric had a hole in it so the plastic headband poked through. We took the plastic headband out and replaced it with one of my daughter's own, it stood up much better on her head then and she was able to wear it normally. The dress was worn for 4 performances of the play and it's already starting to show signs of wear and has a hole in it. If you need this type of costume for an older girl there isn't much choice out there and this does work, but don't expect it to last too long! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Used as Tudor dress *by P***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 September 2019* Bought for a Tudor assembly.
