Worse?** A: Same so far.. used in roller on vacuum.. been in for a year.. **Q: What is the id and od in inches?** A: ID is 0.312 inches or 5/16 inches or 7.71mm OD is 0.8665 inches or 111/128 inches or 22.01mm **Q: Can you disassemble these and put the balls, ball frame and guards on another just like it? I need it for a motorized bicycle chain tensionser wheel.** A: I don't know about disassembling without likely severe damage. However, I used parts from an old bicycle derailleur to tense and carry the double length chain for my old Infinity Recumbent Bike. The springs give just enough to allow the chain to move all directions without choking. Stiff strapping was easy to use to mount on frame. Later I used small radiator hose clamps to secure the whole contraption for rough rides. It's held together and still works after 10 years and about 8,000 miles. If you find a toothed wheel that fits your bearings, you could let it ride on a strait shaft and avoid my Rub Goldberg styling. **Q: Where are these made?** A: There is nothing on the bearing that indicates to me where it was made. The only thing on them other than the 608zz is CQC. I assume that is the company that made them. Without trying to track down a company with CQC initials, based on price, etc. I’d say the odds are they were made in China.
