Material looks water resistant but not waterproof obviously. I think it would be ok to pop outside in these in the rain for short periods, if you needed to put the bins out or chat with a neighbour etc. Slightly bigger sized apparently, which others have mentioned in their reviews. I'm a size 10 for all my other shoes and trainers, but I got these in size 11 and they're an excellent snug fit. I recommend getting a size up to make sure they're not too small. Didn't arrive in a shoe box but the packaging was perfectly adequate for shipping. Just to state again, they are very comfortable to wear, and feel nice next to the skin if you don't have socks on. Can't comment on durability as they've only just been delivered, but hopefully they will last a good few years. Overall I give them 5 stars for the comfort and warmth, and also the price!
