Choose medium/intense shade for dark circles. Review: I’ve been using this corrector for a few years as it’s a great dupe for the original Becca undereye corrector. The one by Smashbox is not nearly as good as the original. I was running low on product, but didn’t have time to order directly from Beauty Pie as I normally do. I bought some less expensive ones from drugstore brands and they were awful! I didn’t think Beauty Pie sold this corrector on desertcart until I randomly checked, and I’m so glad I did! I have super dark hereditary undereye circles and this has the right amount of pigment to minimize the darkness of my circles and color correct the area so that I can have a brightening effect (and not a grey area) when I place concealer over the top. This works well with a drier concealer like Tarte Shape Tape (controversial, I know but it has the most pigment) and stays put. Remember, this product is meant to be worn with concealer/foundation on top, as all color correctors are. I’ve seen confusion in the comments over how to use it, but the product info states its purpose. Finally, less is more. Don’t apply a thick layer because it’s not meant to work on its own. I needed something that's a little darker for my skin so I could cover the dark circles without the grey/blue effect, under my concealer. This is so awesome, I love this.
