I've worn them in the rain many times without a problem. Mind you, I wouldn't submerge them fully in water. They are very nice, comfortable and warm boots. Highly recommend!! **Q: Do these boots suit wide feet with high arches?** A: I myself have wide feet and high arches. I did purchase I size higher than normal and my boots fitted like a glove. I’ve had them about 9 months and wear them daily walking my three dogs every morning mainly over farm land. Great waterproof boot, I've never got wet feet in them. preform well in muck and wet grass or marsh. Well constructed strong boot. They are comfortable but a stiff boot, ideal for off road, I have wore them on long stoned road walks, found them a bit hard on my soles after about 15km mark on the hard surface, definitely more suited to off road walks than long distance road walks.I would like to see the same boot with a higher option like a 9 inch ankle boot for more ankle support and for more confidence in boggy ground.
