My main compliment is to the seller. One of the glasses had a slight defect on the lip. I immediately contacted the seller (The New York First Company) through the contact info on their enclosed guarantee card. I sent an email with a picture of the glass with the defect. It was a rough edge and it was difficult to get a good picture of that. It was more of a feel than a visual defect. But I quickly heard back that they would send a new set. I offered to just exchange the one glass, but they right-away sent a new set of two in perfect condition. The whole thing was settled within a week. I am gratified and happy to recommend these glasses and this seller. They are good at their word. In my view, and the view of many, the martinis at Duke’s are the best in the world. Part of it is the drink itself, with its bespoke vermouth and frozen gin. Part of it is the clubby, old world atmosphere of the bar and its waiters in white dinner jackets. And part of it is the vessel in which this elixir is poured. Finally, after years of searching, I have found the Duke’s martini glasses. Unique in their conical shape and no too large, although no one would call these glasses peitite, these are the perfect martini glasses.
