It arrived in one box that was easy for one to person to move around. Opening it revealed neatly packed parts with all the hardware, instructions and tools needed to assemble it. Assembly will go quicker with your own tools if you have things like ratchets and drills but you can certainly assemble in a timely manner with the provided hand tools. I helped him assemble it although one person can do by him/herself. The top awning is adjustable which is nice depending on the angle of the sun. It holds 2 people comfortably and swings back and forth nicely without making squeaking noises. The cushions are removable and are very comfortable. When it comes time for winter storage, the seat detaches from the stand and then they are both very easy to move into a shed or garage. At first I thought it was going to be to small cause I'm 5'9 but i was wrong. It's a good size even for me.
