What would prevent it from working with a 32" monitor? Has anyone tried using a larger one?** A: The size of the monitor doesn't really matter. What matters is that the monitor (1) has the right VESA mount, (2) has a flat surface to mount it to (my newest 32" monitors don't), and (3) isn't too heavy. They worked great on my heavy 28" monitors. The would work great with my even lighter 32" monitors if the monitors had a flat surface to mount to. I think you'd be fine with 32" monitors. **Q: Can this be mounted horizontally?** A: Hello, Thank you for checking! This adapter can possibly be used that way, but it wasn't designed for it. The height adjustment latch system only works when mounted vertically. Sincerely, VIVO Customer Support **Q: can it be mounted backwards? meaning... the plate mounted on the monitor, and the long rail on my existing VESA mount?** A: The plate that would normally connect to the Visa mount is threaded, so as long as the thread pitch matches you could, otherwise you could drill out the thread. Then the other side that. Normally goes to the monitor you would just need to add nuts because it is not threaded.
