As of today, nails are worse and the liquid doesn’t even smell at all - not natural essential oils. Also, the box doesn’t even say what the ingredients are… very disappointed in Kerassential **Q: Does this work with nail ridges?** A: I had a large nail ridge in my pinky toe which was caused by a severe stubbing of my toe on a cement corner that I had for TEN years. I had always assumed it was a permanent damaged nail and this item completely got rid of it. I was quite surprised actually. I can’t say whether it would help get rid of nail ridges if it’s caused by an underlying condition. I do have very dry skin so it could have been a combination of damage and eczema. Whatever it was it’s gone and my pinky looks cute again! Take a chance on this one seriously it’s worth a try. Leave it somewhere you won’t forget to use it, like next to the toilet or by your bedside table so you will remember to use it morning and night! **Q: Does this help repair damaged fingernails resulting from hypothyroidism?** A: I’m not sure but it has greatly improved the appearance of my toenail that was badly damaged and thick. It’s worth a try in my opinion. **Q: does this work better than original kerasal?** A: I can not confirm that it works better. So I started using this as directed 11/1/25 (twice daily for a week and once daily after that), and also changed my diet a little based on some internet research in case that might’ve helped. It’s been 6 months now and my nails are finally showing new growth that is very clearly healthier than that before it. I read it can take a year for a full new toenail to grow, so the progress seems on track, but I’m just pleased that the new nail growth is now coming in normal again, no discoloration or funny thickness.
