There's no fabric label inside, which I don't like, but the fabric feels very similar to other clothes I own that are 85% cotton and 15% linen. Not sure about the spandex content, these don't seem very stretchy, but I guess it's a small amount.I ordered size XL for hubby, not knowing his measurements, as that's the size he usually wears and it fits well, a bit long, but I'll wash it warm in the machine and see if it shrinks a bit. I would normally only wash this on cold gentle cycle in the machine and hang to dry. The dryer will shrink this, too, unless you dry at low or no heat. The black color is great, not see through, only if the sun really shines on it and you're looking from the other side. Doesn't matter out where we live, lol, the animals don't mind! I love this pants and how it looks on hubby, I'm going to order another one (and they're on sale as well)! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent quality, comfortable, but larger than you think *by J***R on May 22, 2025* I'd been thinking about a new pair of linen pants for summer travel so when these came up I grabbed them. But I should have trusted my instinct and gotten a size smaller. They're kinda clown pants.For reference, I'm 5'10", about 175lb, 33" waist. According to the sizing chart I'm solidly in the Large size so that's what I got. Even though most similar elastic waist with drawstring items I've bought were Medium. Well, I should have gotten a Medium. They fit fine around the waist. They're just too big. A little too long, and super loose in the legs and butt. And when I tried to return them I was not given the "replace with same item" so I could get the size that fits. It was return for credit or nothing. And since I received them for free through the Vine program... well... I'll just wear the clown pants and hope they shrink a lot.For a retail price of $20, they're a pretty good bargain. They will probably go on every vacation to a beachy place until they wear out. My initial impression over the product has been great, with the main positives being:1. I really like how lightweight and loose fitting these pants are. It is as described on the product page and offers a very comfortable wear for the casual occasions, whether inside or outside.2. The overall material quality also seems to be solid. The stitching look to be well done, and the linen doesn't feel scratchy on my skin (it isn't exactly soft either, but nothing that takes away from the overall comfortable fit offered by the pants).3. The pants also came out fine through a machine wash (delicate) and dryer (low) cycle, which will make cleaning and maintaining this a breeze.Even in its black color, the pants can look a bit translucent, so that is probably something to watch out for or to take into account before ordering.
