I would first advise you ask your breeder, but, if you can't do that for some reason, I can tell you that we have an English Mastiff, which is quite a bit larger than a dobie (she is 180 lbs), but she is older and not active at all any more, so she doesn't eat much. We feed her about 1 1/4 cups twice a day, in addition to the 1/4 cup or so of sweet potato we put her meds in.
