My new sink came with a some smaller pads randomly placed underneath. I simply stuck these larger pads right over those from the factory. **Q: What material are the pads made from?** A: The pads look like a rubber type material with an adhesive backing. **Q: Can pads be trimmed? My area is larger than 6 inches.** A: Yes. You can trim if needed, however, these separate into 9 separate 6x6 pads. I simply placed in varying locations under the sink to impact the greatest area. They are fantastic! **Q: How many pads needed for 18” copper sink?
