Review: Purchased the Hornady Rotary Case Tumbler a few year back after using a vertical vibration cleaner for year . There is no comparisons between a dry media tumbler and the hornady wet rotary tumbler . The included steel media cleans and polishes the Brass cartridges quickly and efficiently. I just fill it with the steel media brass then about 3/4 full of water and a few drops of dish soup and it works amazing . I will not be switching back to dry media ever . This is basically a one step process and the brass come out mirror quality . The drum lid seals good and you will have no problems with leaks . The machine has lots of different setting for automatic off , I normally run it for about 4 hours and the brass is good . Holds a ton of brass and makes cleaning effortless . A must for anyone who reloads and wants clean brass.

**Q: Is this a wet tumbler?**
A: Yes

**Q: What solution should be used?**
A: I use Hornadys sonic/multi purpose solution about an ounce too 300 223 cases the rest water rinse multiple times dry in oven or a drier

**Q: Is this product suitable for tumbling copper and silver jewelry?**
A: Might be overkill but its doable. Keep in mind that you will have to use a different cleaning solution and probably change the steel pellets to something else. I don't know if they'd damage the jewelry or not

**Q: How long do the stainless steel pins last before needing to be replaced?**
A: I don't know how long they will last in months, but, I've tumbled 3000 rounds of 223 and they still look like new.  I tumble 500 rounds at a time and put 1 tablespoon of Dawn in the tumbler and a 1/4 teaspoon of Finish Jet-Dry.  I use the Hornady case dryer to make sure the cases are completely dry after tumbling.

This unit plus lemishine makes your brass come out looking brand new. Even with tarnished brass that sat in the field for months. There is a spray that removes oxide then toss in the tumbler with lemishine, bam perfect brass. It gets kinda warm but no problems with it.
