The recipe consists of 80% yellow chili pepper (Scotch Bonnet) and 20% olive oil. It is one of the few commercially available chili sauces from Rwanda. Akabanga is Kinyarwanda for "Secret" and stands for the secret recipe used to make. It is also very suitable for the user as the "Bang" (in English it is a delicious explosion of flavors in the mouth).
