Darwin argued that the noblest features of humans, such as language and morality, were the result of the same natural processes that produced iris petals and scorpion tails. Review: Everyone MUST read this book - Before anyone castigateds me for the reason I think this should be read, I am only stating the words and beliefs of Darwin. Darwin was wrong about almost everything of which he wrote. Here, in The Descent of Man, Darwin's prejudices against every race, except the white race, is clearly laid out by this man. He lays out how he thought men born were intellectually superior to women (ridiculous even for his time), how various human "races" are inately superior, how men were innately superior, etc., etc. No one should hold this man on high, when he was such a vile person, stuck in his own prejudices, yet peddled these prejudices as "Scientific Facts". No one should avoid reading the real and complete Charles Darwin. These were his beliefs, through which he viewed everything in the world. It is a great book, because it exposes him to the light of day! Pick it up and READ IT, before you get mad at the messenger. Review: Greater importance than Darwin's "Origin of the Species" for those looking into evolution. - Perhaps of greater importance than Darwin's "Origin of the Species." Though since it's writing there are errors, still his analysis of anatomy of different species and the potential connection to Homo sapiens was exceptionally insightful for its time. Feel this is an important book for those interested in evolution, anthropology and paleontology. Be sure to get the complete version not the abridged edition. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #624,544 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #2,216 in Evolution (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 273 Reviews | ## Images ![The Descent Of Man (Volume 1) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71H6xg2c0+L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everyone MUST read this book *by F***M on January 8, 2018* Before anyone castigateds me for the reason I think this should be read, I am only stating the words and beliefs of Darwin.
