This scale fits the bill perfectly, and I like that it is very compact. But I deducted a star because the instructions INCORRECTLY state to put a 500g weight on the scale to calibrate (take a close look at the instructions on the lid in the picture). The scale doesn't read higher than 100g plus it only comes with a 100g weight for calibration, so why would the instructions say to use a HUGE weight? Also the instructions say not to put heavy items on the scale as it could ruin the scale.
