I have long thick hair and like some of the other reviewers on here, I did experience the 'squeaky' or 'waxy' feeling after rinsing, but I then applied a small experimental blob of conditioner and the waxy feel disappeared completely. I was able to brush, dry and style my hair as usual. I'm not sure what causes the waxy feeling but I can definitely confirm that a tiny blob of conditioner will go a long way and it definitely fixed it for me. It was a decent sized bar and was easy enough to use, just wet it and apply. I've only used it once so far, but my hair was squeaky clean and soft enough to comb through without using a conditioner. It also felt a bit thicker, I'm assuming because it actually cleaned away all the excess product that was weighing it down. There was no unpleasant smell to the bar, just a faint coconut aroma and I'm writing this on the day after washing it and my hair still smells and looks fresh.
