What’s good: I liked there color options, they we very easy to install, as I think is typical of these style of blinds. The price was pretty reasonable comparatively. What’s bad: They didn’t come with instructions on operation, I had a hard time figuring out how to get them in pairing mode. Once I did adding them via matter to HomeKit was pretty simple. Customer service was ok, but based in china I believe, I will give them credit for trying to help me work through some issues. The solar panel I ordered with them was not the one showed and was making the blind do a toggle every 5 minutes or so. They didn’t ship me a different solar panel at no extra cost though. So far I haven’t seen any firmware updates. It shows as 1.0.0 The battery status does not update in HomeKit, nor does it show that it’s charging. The blinds I chose to use the solar panel on are way up high in the foyer, and the battery eventually died with the solar panel attached, even after weeks of no use and being dead it never gained any charge til I got a ladder and extension cord and plugged it into the wall. I’m still not convinced if the solar panel is even working. In my living room I have three sets on an automation to open and close at sunrise and sun set, often times I will find one did not open or close, even though in home kit it shows it to be. When they work it’s great, they look great and block out 100% of the light. But I find myself wishing I had paid the extra a gone with a name brand. My biggest issue is they do correctly report their state (open, closed, battery level, charging) I feel like this could be fixed with a firmware updates. Also strange the manufacturer reported just says RM, although they say blindify on the actual blinds.
