The pockets that go under the mattress corners are made from the same quality material as the sheets themselves, not a cheap material that easily rips. They’re also visually attractive. They’re a literal rough at first, but it’s my understanding that the more Egyptian cotton sheets are washed, the softer they become, and I’m happy with the feel after a couple months. The only thing I don’t like about them is the top sheet is so big that it can become overwhelming when I’m sleeping.
