Mine is approximately 7x5x4 . The weight depends on how many "heaters" you take. Empty weighs 12.6 oz and heaters are 2oz each. This is good flameless cooking method but the heaters make a bit impractical for too long a trip. I stow mine with 6 heaters inside and use only when necessary. ie, can not build fire. **Q: Where can i find recipes for barocook rectangular flameless cookware system? maybe a cook book?** A: I don't believe there is a cookbook available other than instructions on the packets. **Q: Can you cook a thawed out hamburger in this?** A: Yes you can. But you need to use more than one packet to do it. I used Barocook for every meal for a week after a hurricane. I boiled water, cooked raw food, etc. Two of the large heater packs does it.
