However, they lack an effective mounting system and only accommodate single-lens smartphones which means any secondary features cannot be used (flash, zoom, macro, et cetera). So these take the place of those functions. There is also the edge of the lens in view at times unless it is perfectly placed. They function best on a phone that has no protective casing on it (not at all ideal). The lenses are also not compatible with other small camera types, which was a bit disappointing.
