As a test, I left it on indoors at 100% brightness for just over half an hour, on a day with 32C-90F weather, and it did get noticeably quite warm, but not enough to make it uncomfortable to touch. It is compact and easy to use, and doesn't take an incredibly long time to charge. I can't speak for durability yet. The build does not feel flimsy at all. I've only knocked it over onto a carpeted floor once while on a tripod, with no visible negative effects. Here's hoping it can withstand many more drops. But if you're someone who is a stickler for very fine control, this might leave you just a little wanting.
