**Q: What is the distance between pins at base?**
A: Hello,The distance between the two pins is 6.35mm.  Thanks

**Q: Is this lamp the display/optic lamp that works with microscopes?**
A: I was able to use this to replace the lamp on an inverted microscope. Most important thing is to match the volts and wattage. The pin spacing seems to be standard.

The one and only issue that I came across was my own fault. I did not adequately spec my replacements and because of that the bulbs I bought have a shorter life expectancy. (50hrs instead of Lightforce's 2000hrs). Other than my mistake, there has been Zero issue. As of now, almost a week after recieving & installing, I've only positive feedback. -I will edit this if anything noteworthy happens.
