**Q: Hi, could you let me know what hot/cold filling you've used that has stayed crispy when made in advance - and how far in advance that was? Thanks!**
A: You put the croustade in the oven for a couple of minutes only.  That crisps them up.  Put the cold filling in half an hour before either eating or putting in oven.  Don’t leave them too long otherwise they go soggy.  I have put some tapenade in the bottom then half a quails egg then a dollop of Hollandaise sauce on top then 4 mts in hot oven

**Q: Are these gluten free**
A: These cups are a product of Sweden. Brief contents mention that they contain wheat flour

**Q: Do these get soggy fast?**
A: What you must do is to brush melted butter into base and then bake them for 5mts.  Then you can put the filling in but only 30mts before you want to eat them as they will go soggy.

**Q: Expire date?**
A: Our current stock BBE date is April 2022

Just love these, and panicked when my local store was out of stock, so relieved to be able to buy them here. They are just right for filling with soured cream and either fresh fruit or salmon caviar! The little cases stay crunchy as long as you don't make them too far in advance - but they're still tasty!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tried these for the first time

Wanted an alternative to pastry for a party nibble, they are hard to describe other than a 'hard shell' although they soften up a lot in the oven so doing a hot starter in them left them slightly unstable to be handled. In terms of losses, about 9 in each pack were broken and I guess this can't be avoided and I certianly had more broken when ordering the Piddy variety (although you did get a lot more) - overall they were great for a cream cheese filling (they will go soft if left in the fridge for hours) so fill them probably an hour or two before you need them - I would not recomend leaving them filled over night unless you want them to be soft.
