Unusable following *by A***R on December 30, 2016* Worked well for a few months, crystal clear audio. It has been a little over a year and today (while technically functional) records audio sounding like princess Leia when she is disguised as a bounty hunter looking to rescue Han - Completely distorted, with an unthinkable amount of background noise. Even when the gain is super low, and you can barely hear the subject speaking/singing, you can still hear a slight FWOOOOSH from the microphone. So I replaced the tube with a beautiful, new, one. Issue is the same. Put the tube in a known working preamp, works like a charm.
