Many lines make a tamari, but not a teriyaki sauce. San-J has created an absolutely delicious sauce using the gluten-free tamari. The sauce has the perfect balance of salt and sweet. Upon initially opening the bottle, the product is somewhat watery, but quickly cooks down into a thick sauce, which is absolutely perfect for basting chicken or adding to rice and vegetables. The bottle was well packaged, and there was no leaking or breaking. I have in the past seen this product in stores for slightly less money, but because it is so rare to find it, it is definitely worth the price that I paid.
