It consists of tiny beads coloured in shades from very pale to dark to match various pigments in natural skin. The beads are suspended in a gel-like substance, but dissipate when this is applied to your skin. Gently massaging this (in small circles) mixes the two components and provides an even coverage to your skin. After is is applied, there is a slight glow or shine to your face, however, this disappears after awhile. If you prefer a matte finish to your makeup, this may not be the product for you, but I like the fact that it has a moisturizing effect on my skin for daily use. For evening -- you might want to try the CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation which will provide more coverage. This product is also cruelty-free, vegan, paraben-free, fragrance and talc-free and is recommended by dermatologists.
