Made to replace a 18 inch long baseboard vent each premium decorative baseboard register comes with color matched mounting screws and is made with a tough baked-on powder coat finish to last for generations. This grille is made with heavy gauge steel and you won't have to worry about denting it with the vacuum cleaner. Installation is easily accomplished with a screw driver or power drill/driver. Designed and manufactured in Phoenix, Arizona, a city that regularly sees daily summer temperatures above 105 F/41c. The newer builder grade registers at the home improvement box stores, did not have the same depth. This cover the rust mark the old one left. Having stated the why, this thing looks great. The material is thicker, provides better air flow and hopefully will not rust like the old register. The down side is the price, three times the cost compared to Home Depot. But, it has the dimensions I needed.
