How about the window mesh on a pop up blind ?** A: Glass window, no. Mesh I don't know. **Q: Can this be used for golf?** A: Yes but it doesn’t have a flag lock or anything like that. **Q: Which setting do i need to use for shooting from a stand?** A: You need the mode that shows horizontal and vertical and then you would aim your shot based on the horizontal distance to target. Don't use the straight line setting from a stand as your shot will hit high. **Q: Can units be changed from yards to meters?** A: Yes it can. Just do a long press on the mode button and it will switch back and forth from yards to meters. The speed function however, is locked on Km/hr. There is no setting for MPH. BTW, this is an excellent range finder. Hubby needed a new one (admittedly I stole his) and we’ve heard great things about TideWe so we figured we’d give them a try. This is an awesome little range finder. It’s very small, which is one thing we both like about it and it’s accurate! It works well in low light. If your in dense woods at last shooting light is when it starts to be iffy. I had an issue because small branches kept getting in my way, but if you hold the button it will give you the range as you move it so you can determine the right distance even when those pesky limbs get in the way! It has a speed feature too.
