If I have 2, 1 brdcast and 1 receive will it increase signal both ways** A: No. I found it works best if the signal is above 40% (with a normal antenna) then if aimed in the right direction it could increase to 70%! But if less than 40% to start with likely will see no gains. If you have line of sight to the other end you will want an antenna with a very narrow focus and will need to boost the signal at both ends. **Q: Does this connect to the antennae of a repeater modem to then give farther reach from the original cable modem?** A: I used mine to connect to one of 3 antennae on a TP link router, and placed the outdoor antenna outside of a metal sided building to increase signal to an outside camera, and it did a good job. If you are using a repeater or wireless extender, this may help with walls, etc. but will not amplify the RF signal itself. Also, a repeater is more complex in terms of extending network coverage because most repeaters use 1/2 of the available signal to talk to the home base, cutting your "theoretical" speed in half. If you are trying to improve wifi, look at more robust "access points" which connect by ethernet to your main home router. Suggestions include TP link eap 225, eap 245, and much of the Ubiquiti line.
