While I was initially pleased with this ice maker for the months of April & May, by the end of June, it became glaringly obvious that this ice maker is simply junk. In June, it began to emit an unbearable level and amount of noise with every use. It is intolerable. The noise escalates and can be heard outside. I would have to turn off this ice maker, but the noise doesn’t stop until the unit is actually unplugged from the outlet.
