After return window has passed I contacted customer service to let them know and all they said was "the return window for this item has passed"....no kidding. TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND TERRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT BUY. ## Features - In winter, all the liquid will be in the bulb as it will show room temperature. You can use it without shaking it the first time you take it out of the box. If not, restart (shake) the thermometer before use. - It is designed to have a stop feature on the tube, this helps you lock the data. It can go up, but it can't go down automatically unless you shake it (tip down) - Change the viewing angle slightly from 3 to 5 degrees by rotating the thermometer so you can read its temperature easily. - Do not put it in hot water, as the high temperature will be out of the thermometer's range, causing it to break. - Do not put the thermometer in the refrigerator or cold water to readjust.
