Included in each Kit: * One half gallon (64 oz.) glass jar, and 3" plastic screw-on lid predrilled with two aeration holes: one for the rigid air tube to bring air into the culture, and one for to allow air to escape. Jar mouth is large enough to allow for easy cleaning. * LIVE Nannochloropsis Oculata (Nanno) or Tetraselmis (Tetra) cells in 16oz bottle(s). This phytoplankton has been cultured using Hydro Algal Fertilizer. The Nanno can be cultured for fresh/brackish/salt water. The Tetra can only be cultured in saltwater. * One 4 oz. bottle of Salt Mix to achieve the desired salinity. * One 4 oz. bottle of Hydro Algal Fertilizer as the culture nutrient growth medium. This fertilizer adheres to the Guillard f/2 formula, the gold-standard in the aquaria hobby for over 40 years.
