It is jam packed with helpful information.I have taken a few yoga classes over the years and I am familiar with Donna Eden's energy medicine techniques through reading her books. I enjoy doing yoga and feel that Donna's work is very valuable and worthwhile. To be sure, I am far from proficient at either discipline, but using my limited experience I managed to figure out what Lauren was trying to teach...I think. Without some experience in both disciplines I believe this book would be very confusing, but that is not the authors fault. She does an admirable job of trying to tell her story in a comprehensible way.If you enjoy yoga and are familiar with Donna Eden's work then I believe you will enjoy reading this book and find it well worth the money. Actually committing to the program without a scheduled class is another story. I believe most people will find that difficult. I hope to be more consistent with it someday because I truly believe Lauren is on to something here and I am grateful to her for writing this book.In summary, I think this book is a wonderful resource and I am glad I bought it, but it is not for everyone. The exercises can be challenging, but, I believe, also worthwhile. There is plenty of free info online for anyone who is not familiar with the yoga postures or language. And she recommends classes for those who are absolute yoga newcomers. I've just started this book and already have learned so much. basic tips to make it a way of life.
