From the start it was not a great experience, the package came feeling a bit wet. It might have gotten damaged in shipping and started to leak some of the liquid. The sticky strips on it were actually soaked and were not really able to work. The majority of the liquid seemed to be in the item still so I proceeded to install it. The smell is present and diffused throughout the house via the HVAC vents. The smell is very subtle but you can add more of the item if you want a stronger scent. The scent last about 4 to 5 days. Perhaps I got sensory exhaustion but I couldn't smell anything even if I spent the day out of the house and came back. I don't think I will be buying this again. For the price there are better alternatives such as the plug in scent devices.
