I ran the blanket in the dryer on air-fluff (no heat) for 20 minutes just to puff it up and shake out any lint that may be on the surface. I ordered the blue which is exactly as pictured in the online photo. Kind of a light, powder blue. Perfect match for my pillow shams. This blanket caught my eye due to the textured design. It looks like a chenille bedspread texture. I think the pattern is well defined on the surface. I use my blankets as a bedspread and cover. The texture is just lovely and quite attractive! It is the perfect all-year round blanket. Not too thin and not thick, just right. Super soft and comfortable. It fits my queen size bed perfectly with the right amount of drop of the sides. I can see this used as a bed blanket or a wrap put on a sofa. Great value for the money.
