Delivered with corner protectors on to prevent damage in transit. It is made from light, sturdy MDF with a wood effect covering. Nicely finished, no dents or ripples. The "glass" is a light weight clear, thin perspex that has film on both sides for transportation and needs peeling off before use. The back board is a fairly standard thickness board with the folding metal tabs that are commonly used in framing to hold it in place. It really isn't hard to work out at all: Turn the frame face down, fold all the metal tabs upwards towards the edge of the frame. Lift out the back board Lift out the perspex and peel the backing off both sides. Put the perspex back in Put your item to be displayed in Put the back board back in with the hanging hook in place Bend back all the metal tabs so they lay flat Done!! It comes with two hooks that slide over the backing board so you can hang it landscape or portrait. If you hang it landscape maybe use both hooks equidistant so the frame is well supported. As it is made with lightweight materials the frame is lovely and light so it is easy to hang. No fancy heavy duty rawl plugs/screws/fixing are necessary, just standards nails or screws.
