I had to size up to fit the widest part of my body. Make sure you double check your waist measurements too, you will want breathing room, as there is no stretch to the fabric.The reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to, 1. the sleeves are too loose on my arms.2. the inside lining does not line up with the seams on the outside of the dress, and the lining does not go all the way to the end of the dress.3. Some of the buttons are not sewn as securely as others. And so they will need to be checked individually to make sure they are sewn more securely.I will have to pay for the dress to be tailored for a better look.The dress is a zip up, which is nice to not have to button every single button. Just be careful as some of the buttons may not be sewn on tightly. If you are having it tailored, it would not hurt to make sure they check and sew any loose buttons a little more securely to the dress, since if you sit down you might lose a loose button, or it could be hanging lower and it could be noticeable in photos, if that happens.The lining is thin and does not match the end of the dress, it is shorter.Even though the lining is thin, the dress is very warm, perfect for a winter or cold outdoor wedding/event.Buyers for reference, I’m not wearing anything underneath the dress. There is padding in the top that is sewn in, so no need to wear a bra. And if you are planning to wear shapewear, a corset or girdle, take that into consideration when choosing your size. You may want to go up another size and have it tailored since the fabric does not have any stretch.Shipping was fast but I selected a size 10 instead of doing a custom sized order where you send the seller your body measurements.Be aware if you try to size down to squeeze into the dress for a more form fitting look, I also purchased a size 8 to see if it would fit better without having to pay for alterations/tailor, however, the sleeves on the size 8 were way too tight and would not work at all. (Again because there is no stretch in the fabric) it is better to size up and just know you’ll have to get it altered unless you have time for the custom sized option.Pay attention to the color you order, white when photographed in natural outdoor lighting can tend to have a slight blue hue. While ivory when held next to bright white fabric can appear to look almost like it is yellow, however, ivory is actually more flattering on most skin tones. I purchased ivory (pictured) and was very happy with the color. I also purchased this same dress in white and compared to the ivory, the white did not look as good with my skin tone. Just keep the dress color white or ivory in mind if you are wearing a veil. This will make sure you select a veil color that compliments your dress color. White dress, select a white veil. Ivory dress, select an ivory veil. Otherwise, photos will pick up on the mismatch between say, a white veil and ivory dress color.I will also have to have some taken off the bottom of the dress in the front, since I’m not wearing high heels. But I would rather it be a little bit longer than the dress being too short. For size reference, When I ordered the dress in a smaller size, (a size 8), while the length was perfect, however, that size didn’t fit in the sleeves or the waist.I am a 36”-30”-36”. (36DD bra size) I am 5’4” tall. I ordered a size 10 based on the measurement chart from the pictures. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gorgeous *by A***A on September 1, 2024* This dress pretty much fits me perfectly as is. If I decide to keep it, I would need some minor alterations. Like in the shoulders so I can lift my arms over my head. Otherwise it's absolutely perfect. There's some stretch in the dress that allows normal walking.
