As people have pointed out, you won't get the maximum charging rate out of any solar cell unless it is in intense, direct sunlight, with the light hitting the panel at 90 degrees. Usually that will not be the case. So let's say you are getting 50% of the maximum rate. That's 90mA/hr from this model, and 3A/hr (equal to 3000mA/hr) from the other model. The other model is still 33 times faster, and always will be, assuming they are both in the same lighting conditions. **Q: Have yet to see any solar battery pack this size actually charge to full in bright sunlight. Can owners confirm it charges to full and how long?** A: I have never let my power pack discharge to empty. My power pack has had 3 lights lit and it took 2 weeks before the 4th light became solid.
