## Description

FabriCoat is a special fabric paint used to change or restore the color of any item in fabric. This all-in-one fabric paint is extremely easy to use, just apply a brush or sponge to the fabric and instantly stain. Available in 28 fabric paint colors for sofas, upholstery, car seats, footwear, clothing, handbags and all other fabric items. Colors are strong and vibrant and will not fade or rub off after drying. Once applied, the fabric paint is soft and flexible for years to come. Penetrates all absorbent materials and once dry, the material will not harden or harden. Fabric paints can be mixed to match fabric color and can be used to restore fabric or to paint custom designs on fabrics. If you use fabric paint to change the color of the fabric, please make sure the color is brighter than the paint you use. FabriCoat fabric paints can also be sprayed on fabric with an airbrush. When used as a fabric spray paint you can unleash your creativity in its application, ideal for creating a custom look. If you have pile like velvet, faux suede, chenille, derlon or microfiber, we recommend ordering twice the amount of fabric paint. This is because these types of fabric have more surface area to cover. We also recommend brushing the fabric regularly (using our cleaning brush) during the drying period to prevent the fabric from clumping

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you advise, how many I would need to cover a small ottoman?**
A: Depending on the original color. I used a whole bottle to touch up some sun bleaching on a black sofa and still is a little noticeable

**Q: Can this be used on a lampshade? Will the warmth of a bulb affect the paint?**
A: I don't think the heat will affect the paint.  I put it on car upholstery that gets a whole lot hotter than a lamp shade.  Worked great by the way.

**Q: do you have to rewet or spray with water again before the 2nd coat?**
A: I would highly recommend spraying with water before each layer. It keeps the fabric softer and makes it look more dyed than ‘painted’

**Q: I used this on a chair and it made the fabric hard and stiff. How can I make it soft again?**
A: You can’t! You have to wet the fabric when you first apply the dye. That’s what makes it stay soft. Once it’s dried it can’t be softened. The more water you spray on the fabric when applying the dye the softer the fabric stays
