Turns out, they are actually pretty good rocking chairs. It wasn’t hard for me to assemble. I did have to use a power drill for four of the screws but it wasn’t hard at all. The chairs look great and are very sturdy and nicely finished. I’m not sure if I just got the good batches or what but, I recommend these by far.Edit: Two years later and these chairs still hold up pretty well. They look the same as they did when I bought them! That said, you can't beat the price. I ordered three chairs, all were exactly as advertised, with none of the defects experienced by other reviewers (paint, misaligned holes etc....). Assembly was straightforward and each chair went together without incident. Each took approx. 15 minutes to assemble using a power screw driver with a hex bit. The instructions were cited as vague by some reviewers, however the assembly was/is so simple that I can't see the value in anything other than the pictorial instructions provided.
