**Q: Can anyone tell me what the thickness is optimal?**
A: The 0.75” ones are thick and cushy compared with previous thinner mats I bought. Since they’re bigger they’re a bit more of a cabinet blocker and look a bit more in-your-face cushiony than the thinner ones, but they definitely feel nice. It depends on your needs, of course, but the 0.75” feels pretty great and I’ll definitely opt for the thicker mats in future purchases as well.

yes! I use it on my wood floor. The material is very soft & doesn't hurt the floor at all. It stays put & doesn't slip at all, but is also not sticky & can be moved easily. I love it on my kitchen wood floor.

**Q: Would this be more comfortable than a memory foam rug for in front of the sink ?  Those are 1" thick to this .47"**

I originally purchased a smaller version of this anti -fatigue mat. I like it very much, so I bought the larger version to go across from sink to dishwasher. I moved the smaller matching one to front of stove. I am 69 years old and occasionally have swelling legs and have some varicose veins. My legs hurt when I wash the dishes. I live alone so I don’t use the dishwasher unless my family is here. But there are things you don’t put in the dishwasher such as my Dutch oven, and pans that need to be scrubbed. I get very tired and my legs hurt a lot on the tile floor. I purchased the small one and what a difference -my legs felt amazing. I even told my daughter I want to make my house lined with this material. I purchased the second one and it came quickly. As far as cleaning, it’s fairly easy to clean, but it does have a design in it, and some of the food gets caught in those cracks, so I just spray it and wash it down with a little sponge. If it was just straight without the design in it, it would be a lot easier to clean. It’s not an issue. It only takes a few minutes. Money well spent..and it is often on a deal so even better!
