In fact, there are some things you don't want to use it on because it's too slick. As for breaking ceased bolts/parts, I've never tried it for that. Only used penetrating oils. Maxfilm is more like WD-40 on steroids, and well worth the money. If you use a lot of penetrating oil, even if Maxfilm would work, I would stick with PB Blaster because of price. **Q: Can Royal Purple Maxfilm be used to rust proof the underside of a car?** A: Royal Purple Maxfilm would not be a suitable product for coating the underside of your vehicle.
