I suppose you could loosen the two top ones and swing the the top section down: or loosen the lower ones and swing the top section forward. Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm in my easy chair and don't feel like walking out to the yard barn. **Q: in user manual it states the warranty is 90 days, looks too short.. Expected 1 or 2 years. How is it performing long term?** A: I bought mine a couple years ago, and it still runs like new. It's honestly working better than the gas one. The only thing I would say is to keep the blades clean and untangled with roots. **Q: Are there different modes of speed for this tiller?
